What does it mean when the server rejects an address?
When you send an email and get an “address rejected” error message, it means the email server can't verify your email address because the SMTP server authentication feature is disabled in your email client. Enable the SMTP server authentication feature in your email client.
That message means that you do not have a username and password for the OUTGOING mail server settings on your phone. Your username and password must be entered twice if you are manually configuring your email account; once for incoming, and again for outgoing. Also check for multiple outgoing mail server settings.
The “Recipient Address Rejected: access denied” error can occur due to a bad DNS cache or a glitch with the network adapter. To fix it, you can try performing a DNS and TCP & IP reset.

The recipient (email address) was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying”. This need not mean you are sending to an incorrect recipient address. If the mail server feels you are trying to relay through it without proper authentication, this error pops up.
